We exist to help you excel by supporting R&D and production through prototyping and instrumentation. Our team and experience can provide coherent solutions with short lead times.
Project 1 Description
Converted a conveyor system with four rolls that was driven with a single servomotor at one end, to one driven with two servomotors with speed reducers, connected to a Galil motion controller. Three ultrasonic distance sensors provided the necessary feedback to maintain the proper level of tension in the system. Learn more...
Project 2 Description
The goal of this project was to design a reaction stand that sealed and secured a reaction chamber and mixer assembly. The reaction stand included specialty ports for addition, probing, and condensate collection. The reaction stand also contained a custom surface condenser and a shield to protect from a potential explosion.
Project 3 Description
Assisted in redesigning a fixture used for final quality testing of custom circuit boards. The fixture holds a row of electrical connectors in a custom 3D-printed housing designed to securely hold each connector at the appropriate location and height needed to join with it's mate on the board to be tested. The board to be tested plugs into the fixture and is held securely in place. Through the connectors, the board receives power and signals which simulate its real-world use, enabling the operator to easily ensure that the circuit board is constructed and assembled correctly. Project 4 Description
Installed safety laser scanners to prevent injury. The operators needed to be kept away from equipment during dangerous stages of the production process. The laser scanners were able to be programmed to monitor a custom protection zone and warning zone. Custom user feedback is provided through the use of a panel meter, a colored light tower and audible alarms. Learn more...
Project 5 Description
Created an automated quality control instrument to test the reliability of a production device. Various real-world conditions were simulated mechanically and controlled electronically and pneumatically, to ensure the device sensed and responded appropriately to each condition. Learn more...
